Hello! I am going to write a short blog today, I am so tired! Today was a good old training day. We practiced off sight, came back to the village for lunch, and then had practice at the Water Cube. After practice, we went to a live filming of the Today Show. If you watch Thursday morning you will probably see us waving in the background... not much but it was still fun! I am so excited for tomorrow, OPENING CEREMONIES! I will update you all as soon as I can. Take care!

Hey Christina -

It's great to read your blog. Thank you for sharing it. Saw the team yesterday on an Oxygen Channel commercial.

Last night on Project Runway the designers' assignment was to design an outfit for the women athletes to wear for the Olympics opening day parade. Made me think of you guys.

Have fun tomorrow in the parade. I'll be watching TV for you and the team.

GO USA!!!

Hi Christina,

I ran across your blog this morning and wanted to write back to you. I think it is quite exciting that you will be sharing your Olympic experiences on your blog page. I am sooooo proud of you. Not very many people are able to compete in the Olympics and you should be very proud of yourself for reaching this goal. Please try to enjoy all of your Olympic experiences. This is an achievement that you can be proud of the rest of your life.

Have fun at the opening ceremonies on Friday. I will be looking for you.

Remember everyone at Warm Springs School and community are pulling for you. Let us know when you are competing so I can tape it.

Best of luck to you and your team,
GO USA!

Take care of yourself,

Jackie Ross (science lab teacher at WSS)

Hi Christina!

Thank you for taking the time to share your Olympic experience. Your blog page is beautifully designed and I enjoyed your words of inspiration. Your account allows us at home to have a personal glimpse of the venue and competition through the eyes of an Olympian.

Your team poster is prominently displayed in our office. You have been an excellent role model for our patients. I teach them that your rise within your sport shows what good planning, determination, and hard work can accomplish. I saw these qualities years ago, and am confident that you will make your family proud throughout your life.

We shall be watching your performances and cheering for your success. We appreciate your representing our country and community. Go Christina! Go Team USA!
